Glenn Beck has stuck his foot in it once again. Telling Americans if their churches teach “social justice,” they should run away as fast as they can.
He equated Christian “social justice” with Nazism and Communism. Dan Fagan regularly castigates any one left of center and any one who believes in concepts of social justice or economic justice as communists and socialists.
A while back Dan had an epiphany while his father was in declining health. He remarked how he was touched by his father’s simple faith (he was a Catholic), and in an Anchorage Daily News column he vowed to change his ways of attacking people personally and that he would never do it again. He actually apologized to a few people.
Unfortunately, this mea culpa and promised change didn’t last long, if at all. Fagan is back to his politics of personal destruction, accusing upstanding citizens in our communities of being immoral, of being liars, of being corrupt.
In that Daily News column Fagan said: “If my profession calls for tearing down others to be successful, then I’ll just have to find another career.”
So, will Dan find another career now? Hell no. Why? Because he doesn’t care that he is a complete and total hypocrite.
